When should I apply online?

It is theoretically possible to travel while the application is in progress, provided it has been validly submitted before boarding. However, there is a risk if authorization is delayed or refused.
How much does the UK ETA cost?
The cost of an ETA for the UK is set at £16 per person, regardless of the traveler’s age. This fee covers administrative processing costs and must be paid directly on the official website at the time of application.
This fee is significantly lower than that of a UK visa, making the ETA more affordable for short-term tourist or business stays.
How long does it take to obtain an ETA?
ETA applications are generally processed quickly. In most cases, a reply is sent within hours of submitting the ETA form online. However, some applications may require further examination. It is therefore advisable to submit your application at least 72 hours before departure, to limit the risk of delays or last-minute refusals.
What should I do if my ETA is refused?
If your ETA application is rejected, this may be due to an error in the information provided. In this case, you can submit a new, corrected application.
On the other hand, if you are not eligible for the ETA program, you will need to apply for a UK visa. This procedure takes longer, and includes a compulsory consular interview at the nearest British embassy or visa application center.
